Welcome to the liturgical season of Lent. Whether you are settling down in the area or looking for different opportunities to dive deeper into your faith this season, we're glad you're here. There are also a number of opportunities to help you connect with other adults in their 20s and 30s and grow in your faith. Below you will find different opportunities to grow this Lent 2023. Tuesday, February 21st at 7:00pm | Pallium Lecture & Young Adult Social in Brookfield, WI
Join us for the Pallium Lecture, an annual event to foster conversation and engage the broader culture through the Catholic intellectual tradition. The Archbishop invites to you this year's lecture, "Love for the Eucharist in an Apostolic Age" presented by Monsignor James Shea, President of the University of Mary. Evening will include Evening Prayer sung with the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus. Lecture will take place at Brookfield Conference Center (325 S. Moorland Rd) and the Post Social to follow at O'Donoghue's Irish Pub (13225 Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove WI). Lecture and social are free, but we ask that you RSVP ahead of time here.

Friday March 30- Sunday April 1 | Undone: Healing the Whole Person Retreat for Women at St. Alphonsus Parish in Greendale, WI*
Do you feel restricted and bound by the knots of sin and shame that conceal the profound beauty of your feminine heart? Immerse yourself in a three-day conference of truth and transformation as the knots of Eve, in us, are undone by Mary's example of radical receptivity. Through a series of talks, teachings and prayer experiences, you will be invited to become Undone in God's presence while deeply receiving the truth of your authentic identity. Join the Benedictine community for a Lenten Journey, a series to engage people in an interactive way about their faith through a time of sharing and community. The series will cover the Lenten themes of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving and Christ's desert experience. Series will run Thursday evenings in March from 7:00PM-8:00PM at St. Benedict's Abbey | 12605 224th Avenue, Benet Lake WI 53102. Participants must register. Call 262-396-4311 ext. 105 to register. Featuring the Cathedral Choir singing sacred music by Allegri, Anerio, Farrant, and others as well as Gregorian Chant and hymnody of Holy Week and the changing of the Lamentations of Jeremiah. Cor Mariae is open to all young adult women (18+) seeking God’s will in their lives. A variety of religious sisters will lead us as we dwell on a different attribute of Our Lady’s heart each session.
