SERVE | Love Your Neighborhood
Jesus commanded us to "love our neighbor," and we believe one of the best ways to do that is in our own neighborhoods. Below are a number of avenues and opportunities for volunteer opportunities in Southeastern Wisconsin. For specific questions, please contact the individual groups. Brew City Catholic is not formally affiliated with any of these organizations. If you have something you would like to add to this page, please email Anna Kozlowski at [email protected] or let us know here.

Kinship Community Food Center - Volunteer | https://www.kinshipmke.org/
At Kinship Community Food Center, feeding hunger is a catalyst for the well-being of our community. Everyone gives. Everyone receives. There’s a wonderful transformation that happens in our hearts when we’re called out of our isolation and into community. Here, when any member of our community discovers the gift they are meant to give and the gift they are meant to receive, it can surprise, heal, and bring new life and purpose. This is true whether you’re a volunteer, shopper, or a donor. By helping one another amidst the diversity of our backgrounds, our needs and hardships, our blessings and privileges... we grow in gratitude, the wellspring of true generosity. Child Minding at Nia Imani
Nia Imani Family, Inc is Milwaukee’s only long-term transitional living program for young women and their children. Founded in 1994, our mission is to provide safe, stable housing, and holistic support so families can heal, grow, and thrive. We go beyond shelter. At Nia Imani, mothers participate in up to two years of life-skills training, education, and workforce development, while raising their children in a secure, nurturing environment. Their approach is rooted in Afrocentric principles of unity, healing, and resilience, ensuring that women feel empowered to reclaim their futures. To volunteer, click here.
